Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in undergraduate and postgraduate Computer Science courses.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content to align with global industry standards and technological advancements.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek grants.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster personal and professional growth.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees to contribute to institutional governance and development.
- Establish collaborations with industry partners to enhance practical learning and internship opportunities for students.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated record of extensive teaching experience at the university level, with a strong portfolio of academic publications.
- Proven expertise in specialized areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies such as Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN) or Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is an advantage.
