About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Clinical Chemistry and related medical laboratory science courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute regularly to reputable academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Provide academic leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior faculty members and students.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives aligned with the university's vision.
- Must possess a PhD in Clinical Chemistry or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A strong and verifiable record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching and successful student supervision.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership, institutional service, and strong ICT proficiency.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing licence with the relevant regulatory body.
