We are currently expanding our academic team and inviting qualified, passionate professionals to apply for the position of Lecturer II within our esteemed Faculty of Nursing Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum materials and course outlines in line with NUC and professional regulatory standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, clinical postings, and student internships.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committees, as well as community outreach initiatives.
- Mentor students academically and morally in alignment with the Christian values and ethos of the university.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Candidates must possess a PhD Degree in Maternal and Child Health Nursing or a closely relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of two (2) years of cognate university teaching, clinical, or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, active continuing research, and relevant academic publications.
- Possession of current professional registration and a valid, up-to-date practising licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern digital pedagogy and online learning management systems.
