As a logical progression of our commitment to academic excellence from primary to tertiary levels, we are expanding our Department of Computer Science. We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence to join our vibrant academic community and lead cutting-edge research and teaching initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and graduate lectures in Artificial Intelligence and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content to align with global industry standards and technological advancements.
- Conduct impactful research, secure research grants, and maintain a sustained publication record in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic administration, departmental leadership, and mentorship to junior faculty members and students.
- Actively participate in community development initiatives and professional service engagements on behalf of the university.
- Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong, verifiable research record with sustained publications in high-impact academic journals.
- Proven leadership capabilities in academic administration, curriculum development, and faculty mentoring.
