Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in anatomical sciences and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental curriculum development, academic planning, and accreditation exercises.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional growth.
  • Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD in Anatomy or a closely related medical science discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience at the university level.
  • An impressive academic publication record with a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed journal articles.
  • A strong academic foundation, holding a First Degree not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and collaborate within multidisciplinary academic teams.
