The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal institution founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Vocational & Technical Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Agriculture Fine Arts Education.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committees.
- Mentor students and provide academic counseling to foster holistic student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and community development initiatives.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agriculture Fine Arts Education or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Must have a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- A First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division, OR a Second Class Lower Division coupled with a PhD.
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and collaborate within academic networks is an added advantage.
