About the Role
Doviana College of Education, an approved private tertiary institution by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) in Gboko, Benue State, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Lecturer. Our mission is to produce well-motivated teachers with high personal and professional discipline, integrity, and competence. We are looking for an academic leader who can contribute significantly to our teaching, research, and community development goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality physical and online classes to undergraduate students.
- Develop comprehensive lecture materials and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
- Coordinate courses, supervise student research, and provide academic mentoring.
- Participate actively in departmental examinations, academic administration, and accreditation processes.
- Conduct continuous research and publish scholarly works in recognized peer-reviewed journals.
- Organize and participate in academic seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Ph.D. in a relevant academic discipline, along with a relevant First Degree and Master's degree.
- Possession of appropriate teaching qualifications and a valid TRCN registration or license.
- Minimum of 6 years of post-Master's academic, teaching, and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 5 published scholarly articles in recognized national or international peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong ICT competence with the ability to manage virtual learning environments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, proven academic leadership, and a track record of research supervision.
