Senior Instrumentation Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Instrumentation Design Engineer to lead critical engineering designs and laser scanning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure precision, safety, and operational excellence across all project lifecycles.

As a Senior Instrumentation Design Engineer, you will drive the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. Your core duties will include:

• Developing comprehensive instrumentation and control system designs, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and cause-and-effect charts.
• Selecting and sizing field instruments, control valves, and safety relief devices in compliance with international industry standards.
• Reviewing and approving vendor technical packages, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality assurance.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, and piping disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Providing technical support during installation, site integration testing, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring all designs adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations.

To qualify for this exciting career opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
• 6 to 9 years of proven experience in instrumentation and control design within the oil, gas, energy, or petrochemical sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in industry standards such as API, ASME, IEC, and ISA.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software and computer-aided design tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
