About the Role
eTranzact, Nigeria's premier multi-application and multi-channel electronic transaction switching and payment processing platform, is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our internal audit team. Since 2003, we have pioneered innovative payment solutions across ATM, Internet, POS, and Mobile channels, expanding our footprint globally. As a Senior Information Systems Auditor, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our IT infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls as we continue to scale our operations across Africa and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and execute a comprehensive risk-based annual IT audit plan covering all technical systems, products, and operational environments.
- Develop detailed audit checklists, programs, and planning memorandums to address known and perceived technology risks.
- Conduct thorough IT audits, analyzing technical risks, evaluating control effectiveness, and formulating actionable recommendations for system improvements.
- Assist in preparing essential monthly audit returns, including fraud reports, audit plan implementation status reports, and exception dashboards.
- Perform ad-hoc investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents at the direction of the Chief Internal Auditor.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on IT audit experience within the financial technology, banking, or related sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CISA or ISO 27001 will be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL) and Audit Command Language (ACL).
