We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Human Resources Manager to spearhead human resources initiatives for our client in the financial services sector. In this pivotal role, you will shape workforce planning, enhance employee engagement, and align people operations with overarching business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and people-management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and strategic workforce planning activities.
  • Manage employee relations, navigate disciplinary processes, and effectively resolve workplace grievances.
  • Drive performance management cycles, appraisal processes, and impactful employee engagement initiatives.
  • Identify capability gaps, coordinate staff training, and oversee professional development programmes.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian employment laws, regulatory standards, and internal company policies.
  • Advise executive management on strategic HR matters to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor workforce metrics, prepare HR reports, and leverage data to improve staff retention.
  • Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, and daily human resources operations.
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and guidance to junior HR and administrative personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a commercial bank, microfinance institution, or regulated financial environment.
  • Possession of professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian employment practices, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with the Anambra business environment and local workforce dynamics will be an added advantage.
