We are currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Senior HR Business Partner for our healthcare client in Nigeria. In this strategic role, you will work closely with hospital management and departmental heads to optimize workforce performance, champion employee engagement, and ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hospital management and department heads to provide expert strategic and operational HR support.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection for both clinical and non-clinical positions within concise turnaround times.
  • Manage comprehensive workforce planning, manpower budgeting, and the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exits.
  • Drive performance management systems, including KPIs, appraisals, and targeted performance improvement plans.
  • Handle complex employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and effective conflict resolution.
  • Develop, review, and implement robust HR policies and procedures in line with Nigerian employment regulations.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance tracking.
  • Drive innovative employee engagement, retention initiatives, and identify continuous training and development needs.
  • Oversee talent management, succession planning, and prepare insightful HR metrics reports on headcount and turnover.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a solid background as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
  • Deep working knowledge of Nigerian Labour laws, employment regulations, and modern HR best practices.
  • Previous working experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with HRIS platforms.
