About the Role
Open Health Foundation is a non-profit healthcare foundation committed to improving the quality of life for individuals facing serious illness, emotional distress, and healthcare challenges. We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Grant and Partnership Officer to lead our organization's grant development, fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic partnership activities across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify relevant grant, funding, and partnership opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and international donors.
- Lead the preparation of compelling concept notes, grant proposals, expressions of interest, and budgets.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with potential partners, donors, NGOs, and government institutions.
- Ensure active grants comply with donor requirements, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Contribute to the Foundation's fundraising and partnership strategy by monitoring emerging health sector trends.
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in grants management, fundraising, partnerships, or business development within the nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrable track record of developing successful grant proposals and securing institutional funding.
- Excellent grant writing, research, and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
