About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior General Manager Production to join our dynamic team at Dangote Cement Plc. In this high-impact executive role, you will lead all manufacturing operations to ensure the efficient production of high-quality clinker and cement, driving optimal revenue and maintaining our position as an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate the efficient production of high-quality clinker and cement to achieve optimal plant capacity and revenue generation.
- Participate in the development and execution of production strategies aligned with Dangote Cement Plc's corporate goals.
- Create, manage, and implement comprehensive production, capacity, and materials requirement plans.
- Prepare and manage annual production budgets through efficient resource optimization and market analysis.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for scheduled production line shutdowns and oversee cement kiln lining repairs and mill operations.
- Provide visionary leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the production team while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of twenty-five (25) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, with at least ten (10) years in a senior management position.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and international cement industry trends, regulations, and manufacturing technologies.
