As we continue to expand our operations and establish our world-class, ECOWAS-compliant GMP plant in Lagos, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Supervisor & Packing Shift In-Charge to join our esteemed manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and supervise all packaging activities during the assigned shift, ensuring targets are met without compromising quality.
- Verify that correct Batch Packaging Records (BPR), materials, and products are issued prior to operations.
- Ensure thorough line clearance before start-up and upon batch completion, adhering strictly to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Allocate and supervise packaging operators, ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and operational protocols.
- Monitor in-process checks, equipment functionality, and reconcile packaging materials to minimize discrepancies.
- Review, complete, and maintain accurate BPR documentation promptly.
- Investigate operational deviations, report equipment breakdowns, and collaborate with QA and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
- Train, coach, and assess packaging operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements.
- Participate in validation batches, CAPA implementations, change controls, and audit preparations.
- Minimum of a B.Sc / HND in Science-related disciplines or relevant manufacturing fields.
- Proven working experience in a supervisory role within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional leadership, team coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
