About the Role

Proforce Limited is a total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and personal protection, delivering confidence in protective mobility across Nigeria and Africa. We are currently seeking a vigilant, technically skilled, and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join our team at our Ode Remo facility in Ogun State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our industrial environment by monitoring advanced surveillance systems, ensuring comprehensive facility coverage, and maintaining stringent security standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activities, safety hazards, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
  • Oversee critical industrial areas including production facilities, warehouses, workshops, entrances, and perimeter zones.
  • Operate camera positioning, zoom, recording, and playback functions effectively.
  • Identify and immediately report security incidents, accidents, or equipment failures to the Security Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate daily CCTV monitoring logs and retrieve or preserve footage for investigations as required.
  • Conduct basic checks on CCTV equipment, cabling, power supplies, and network connections.
  • Liaise with Engineering, IT, and Facilities teams to resolve technical faults and equipment downtime promptly.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and proper handling of all surveillance footage and security information.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Security Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a CCTV Operator, Surveillance Officer, or Control Room Operator.
  • Practical knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR setups, IP cameras, and basic networking.
  • Basic understanding of electrical wiring, power systems, cabling, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional observation, concentration, communication, and incident-reporting skills.
  • High level of integrity, alertness, professionalism, and readiness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
