About the Role
Notionwave Technologies is hiring a results-driven Senior Finance Officer on behalf of our esteemed client in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and supply chain sector in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive financial operations, driving robust financial planning, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and managing strategic budgeting to support our client's continued business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive management.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and financial policies.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and essential treasury functions.
- Monitor overall financial performance and recommend actionable strategies for cost optimization.
- Strengthen internal controls and optimize existing financial processes.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide strong leadership to the finance and accounting team.
- Support strategic decision-making by delivering insightful financial analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Active professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent recognized body is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of cognate finance experience specifically within the FMCG or supply chain industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory accounting, distributor finance, cash flow optimization, and working capital management.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing modern accounting software and ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
