About the Role
NotionwaveTech is a full-fledged solution development and consultancy firm built for organizations whose systems cannot afford to fail. We are currently looking for a driven and analytical Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes within a fast-paced technology and consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to guide management decisions.
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately and timely.
- Perform comprehensive bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory accounting.
- Support tax computation, remittance, and overall statutory compliance.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and assist during internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience, preferably within the FMCG or Supply Chain industry.
- Hands-on experience with modern accounting software and inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in stock reconciliation, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- High attention to detail, exceptional integrity, and strong organizational skills.
