About the Role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support our continued business growth across diverse industries in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee treasury management, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, and robust financial controls while acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, general ledger postings, financial controls, and timely month-end and year-end closures.
- Manage treasury operations, daily cash positions, liquidity, cash flow forecasting, working capital, payments, approvals, and disbursements.
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights for cost optimization.
- Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Manage strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
- Ensure full statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance, overseeing tax filings and statutory returns while implementing effective accounting policies.
- Lead fundraising and financing activities, oversee wallet reconciliation, transaction settlements, and resolve related financial discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Must possess a recognized professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent certification.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience within fintech, services, FMCG, startups, SMEs, or corporate environments.
- Proven expertise in treasury management, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial control implementation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and modern accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
