About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Finance & Accounts Officer to join our reputable organization located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead financial planning, treasury management, and robust accounting administration to aid executive decision-making and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process and ensure seamless staff salary computation in compliance with existing regulations.
- Institute and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce operational expenses and present monthly reports to the Managing Director.
- Ensure strict compliance with all statutory returns, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
- Develop internal control policies to minimize financial leakages, fraud, and non-compliance.
- Supervise daily and monthly bank reconciliations and manage inter-company account reviews.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely presentation of annual audited reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; an MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Senior Accounts Officer in a medium to large-sized company.
- Active Associate membership of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) or equivalent professional certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, treasury, and investment management.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and team management abilities.
- Proven skills in fraud prevention, detection, and internal control implementation.
