About the Role
Nasom Limited is a premier indigenous Oilfield Services Provider and EPCM company with diverse interests spanning pipeline construction, marine logistics, and bulk petroleum trading. We are currently seeking a dynamic, analytical, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure financial integrity, manage tax compliance, and support strategic decision-making across our operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Manage statutory compliance and tax filings including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and CIT with relevant Nigerian regulatory bodies.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial records are audit-ready.
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to monitor budgets and control costs.
- Utilize advanced accounting software to streamline financial operations and improve reporting accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Active professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is strictly required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the oil and gas, EPCM, or maritime sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial reporting standards and modern accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
