As the Senior Executive – Business Development & Liaisoning, you will play a critical role in supporting our aggressive restaurant expansion goals, managing crucial landlord relationships, and ensuring seamless regulatory compliance across all our operating locations in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Liaise with relevant federal, state, and local government authorities to successfully obtain and renew operational licences, permits, and approvals for all KFC restaurants.
- Maintain an updated licence tracker, ensuring applications and renewals are completed proactively before expiry.
- Coordinate inspections, documentation, statutory payments, and follow-ups with regulatory agencies and approved consultants.
- Manage day-to-day communication with landlords, property managers, and mall management teams to maintain harmonious relationships.
- Maintain the rent schedule and coordinate invoices, internal approvals, and timely rent payments with the Finance department.
- Support lease renewals, rent reviews, and commercial negotiations to achieve sustainable rent-to-sales ratios.
- Conduct comprehensive market mapping and scout high-potential sites for new KFC restaurants based on visibility, accessibility, demographics, and traffic.
- Provide regular weekly updates on licences, rent matters, landlord negotiations, and the new site pipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, commercial property management, leasing, or regulatory liaison within QSR, retail, or hospitality.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian licensing authorities, regulatory procedures, and commercial real estate practices.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- High integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and a willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria.
