About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited is a premier provider of specialized engineering, technical, and marine solutions tailored for the oil, gas, petrochemical, and maritime industries. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to lead complex electrical engineering projects and contribute to our expanding portfolio of technical services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the conceptual, basic, and detailed electrical engineering designs for offshore and onshore oil, gas, and marine installations.
- Prepare comprehensive electrical deliverables including single line diagrams, load analysis, cable sizing, lighting layouts, and hazardous area classification drawings.
- Ensure all engineering designs strictly comply with international codes, standards, and Nigerian regulatory requirements such as IEC, IEEE, and NOGICJQS.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution from inception to commissioning.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations, vendor drawing reviews, and provide expert technical support during procurement and site installation phases.
- Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 to 9 years of proven electrical design experience within the oil, gas, petrochemical, or maritime sectors.
- Active registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard design software such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- In-depth knowledge of power systems analysis, protection coordination, and safety instrumented systems.
