About the Role
Trust Wallet is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale the robust data infrastructure powering our global Web3 ecosystem. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to turn massive volumes of blockchain and operational data into actionable strategic assets, directly supporting over 100 million cryptocurrency users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Architect, secure, and maintain scalable data platforms and lakehouse layers on Databricks for streaming and batch workloads.
- Design and develop automated data pipelines using Python and Spark to ingest internal systems and on-chain sources.
- Implement dimensional data models and transformation layers utilizing dbt to ensure consistent, reusable company-wide metrics.
- Optimize cloud data storage and pipeline performance for maximum reliability and cost-efficiency at scale.
- Enforce rigorous data governance, security, and access control best practices across all cloud environments.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with production data lakehouse ownership.
- Strong practical expertise in Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake for streaming and batch processing.
- Solid proficiency in Python, SQL, and dimensional data modeling principles.
- Hands-on experience with transformation frameworks like dbt and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with blockchain data, change data capture, and infrastructure-as-code tools is a strong plus.
