About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Compliance Officer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our enterprise-wide compliance framework across multiple business units including IT, Finance, Foreign Exchange, Cryptocurrency, and Oil and Gas.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide compliance programs across all business lines.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable local and international regulatory requirements, serving as the primary point of contact with regulators.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and regulatory risks through regular audits, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
- Develop, review, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls while leading staff training programs.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and the Board, maintaining accurate documentation of all activities.
- Lead internal investigations related to compliance breaches and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Compulsory ACAMS certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks spanning finance, foreign exchange, cryptocurrency, and the oil and gas sectors in Nigeria.
