About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager / Accountant to oversee our organization's financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, maintaining accurate ledger accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial data to guide business decisions and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze company budgets, forecasts, and financial risk profiles to optimize cash flow.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant Nigerian tax regulations, statutory requirements, IFRS standards, and internal controls.
- Coordinate external audit processes and prepare all necessary documentation for regulatory bodies.
- Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support business expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA are strongly preferred.
- Proven work experience as a finance manager, accountant, or in a similar financial administration role within the Nigerian market.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting frameworks, corporate budgeting, taxation, and comprehensive financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and integrity.
