About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join our growing team in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records for liabilities, equity, and expense ledgers, while coordinating comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare timely quarterly earnings forecasts, accurate Trading Desk financial reports, intercompany reconciliations, and CBN BDC returns.
- Support the annual budgeting process, monitor financial performance against approved budgets, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Drive the implementation of the Group's tax strategy, ensuring seamless tax planning and compliance.
- Ensure zero regulatory infractions by maintaining strict adherence to CBN requirements and submitting accurate statutory returns.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO to manage audit processes, draft financial statements, and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Conduct advanced financial analysis to identify performance trends, risks, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial control, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Robust knowledge of CBN regulations, tax management, financial reporting, and audit coordination within the Nigerian financial services sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and advanced accounting software.
