About the Role
The Elevation Church is a vibrant ministry dedicated to developing witnesses of Christ, empowering individuals for distinction, and driving impactful community development initiatives across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Senior Communications Officer to assist the Head of Communications in managing all facets of our internal and external messaging, brand reputation, and public relations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head of Communications in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the church's mission and vision.
- Manage internal communications to ensure seamless information flow across all church communities, ministries, and service arms.
- Oversee external public relations, media relations, and digital communications to enhance the church's public profile.
- Draft, edit, and proofread engaging content for newsletters, press releases, social media channels, and official church publications.
- Collaborate with various ministry teams to promote upcoming events, community development programs, and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze communication metrics to continually improve engagement strategies and audience reach.
- First degree with a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) from a reputable university.
- Post-graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Public Affairs, or related disciplines will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in communications, media management, or public relations.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong digital literacy, including familiarity with modern communication tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.
