About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited specializes in providing customized solutions to companies operating in the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join our growing technical services team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and execution of robust civil and structural systems for complex offshore and onshore facilities, ensuring compliance with global engineering standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the civil and structural engineering design for marine, petrochemical, oil, and gas projects from conceptual stages through to detailed design.
- Perform advanced structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software for both onshore and offshore structures.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering deliverables including design reports, technical specifications, calculations, and detailed construction drawings.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including marine, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless project integration.
- Conduct technical reviews of contractor designs, vendor drawings, and site surveys to ensure quality assurance and safety compliance.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers within the department.
- Ensure all engineering designs adhere strictly to relevant local and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in civil and structural design within the oil, gas, petrochemical, or maritime industries.
- Professional certification or active registration with relevant engineering bodies such as COREN is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
