About the Role
Vennote Technologies Limited is a well-established ICT company with over two decades of experience delivering enterprise solutions globally. We are looking for a hybrid Senior Backend Developer (Node.js and Python) to join our innovative team of Solution Architects, NLP Engineers, Data Analysts, and Scrum Masters. In this role, you will design robust backend systems, integrate AI and NLP models, and help maintain our technical leadership in enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems for our chatbot platform using Node.js and Python.
- Implement RESTful API endpoints using Express.js and integrate OpenAI services using official SDKs.
- Manage request and response flows to AI engines, ensuring seamless handling of user prompts and AI-generated text.
- Design database schemas for conversational history, user profiles, application settings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data sources.
- Implement real-time communication using WebSockets for a fluid user experience.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and product managers to optimize data exchange and system performance.
- Integrate and fine-tune natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models, assessing metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.
- Ensure platform security, reliability, and scalability to handle increasing user loads on the Azure cloud platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of strong proficiency in Node.js and Python backend programming.
- Extensive experience in database technologies including MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Proven expertise in API development, integration, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform and conversational AI or chatbot development.
