About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited (UP), Nigeria's premier Payments and Financial Technology company founded in 1997, is looking for a dedicated IT Audit Specialist. In this role, you will provide independent assurance to management on IT general controls, ensure enterprise-wide compliance, and help maintain the highest standards of security across our financial technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audit reviews of Database Management Systems, enterprise network security, device configurations, antivirus deployment, systems patches, and log management.
- Evaluate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project management implementation, and change management procedures.
- Review data encryption processes, key management lifecycles, operating systems, and the physical and logical security of cardholder environments.
- Examine Active Directory, data backup procedures, and tape management systems to ensure data integrity.
- Assess general IT controls and formulate practical, value-added remediation plans for identified risks.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing control weaknesses and their organizational impact.
- Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently on multiple, simultaneous risk assessments.
- First Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in IT auditing or a closely related information security role.
