About the Role
New Incentives is seeking a dedicated Senior Auditor - Field Compliance & Investigations to support field compliance, investigation oversight, and audit quality across assigned NI-ABAE states in Nigeria. In this impactful role, you will help safeguard our health-related cash transfer programs designed to save the lives of infants and mothers in developing regions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk-based field audits and investigations across assigned states, prioritizing high-risk clinics and operational issues.
- Validate findings through field observations, caregiver interviews, staff interviews, dashboards, and supporting documentation.
- Support confidential investigations involving staff conduct, clinic operations, caregiver payments, and suspected fraud.
- Review audit and investigation reports, providing actionable feedback to auditors to ensure strong evidence quality.
- Provide technical supervision, coaching, and work plan oversight to field auditors.
- Monitor compliance trends and contribute to continuous improvement of audit tools and fraud prevention protocols.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in field audit, compliance, internal control, fraud investigation, or monitoring and evaluation.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIA, or CFE is an added advantage.
- Strong field audit judgment, risk-based planning, and evidence validation skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hausa or local operating state languages is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to travel and spend up to 3 days per week in field environments.
