About the Role
Collection Developments is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance and Commercial Officer to join our dynamic real estate team in Nigeria. We develop, manage, and invest with the purpose of improving properties and places to deliver lasting commercial and social benefit. Key Responsibilities- Process all purchase orders and subcontractor payment certificates while maintaining the master payment schedule.
- Manage project petty cash and site small-purchases funds, ensuring accurate records and monthly reconciliations.
- Track subcontractor retention balances and monitor overall payment statuses.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly cost reports to the head office finance function.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the compilation of interim payment applications.
- Maintain thorough supplier invoice records, matching all invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Support the Commercial Manager with contract and commercial documentation filing and management.
- Liaise directly with head office finance regarding project banking and cash flow requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in finance or commercial administration, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in standard accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
- Exceptional accuracy and diligence in financial record-keeping and data management.
- Highly organized and reliable with a proven track record of meeting strict monthly financial reporting deadlines.
