We are currently recruiting a dynamic and meticulous Accountant to manage the financial operations of our client in the vibrant hospitality industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering actionable insights within a fast-paced restaurant and nightclub environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to guide management decisions.
- Monitor revenue, operational expenses, and overall profitability across departments.
- Manage cash flow, execute bank reconciliations, and handle banking transactions seamlessly.
- Oversee comprehensive inventory accounting and implement effective cost control measures.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
- Supervise financial documentation, audit trails, and general record-keeping.
- Support leadership with strategic financial insights, budgeting, and cost-saving recommendations.
- Possession of a BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated high level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and exceptional attention to detail.
