We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Nursing Officer to lead our nursing team in Abuja, delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred clinical care.
- Provide clinical guidance on patient assessments, care planning, and the escalation of complex cases.
- Oversee preventative care programmes, including immunization, family planning, and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide mentorship to nursing staff.
- Develop duty rosters, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and accurate documentation within EMR systems.
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) with a current, valid NMCN Practicing License.
- Completed NYSC or possession of a valid Certificate of Exemption.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising or coordinating a nursing team.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, quality improvement, and infection prevention standards.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is strongly preferred.
