We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Nursing Officer to lead our nursing team in Abuja, delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred clinical care.
  • Provide clinical guidance on patient assessments, care planning, and the escalation of complex cases.
  • Oversee preventative care programmes, including immunization, family planning, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
  • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide mentorship to nursing staff.
  • Develop duty rosters, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and accurate documentation within EMR systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) with a current, valid NMCN Practicing License.
  • Completed NYSC or possession of a valid Certificate of Exemption.
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising or coordinating a nursing team.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, quality improvement, and infection prevention standards.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is strongly preferred.
