About the Role
Reliance HMO is a next-generation health insurance company combining technology, data science, and telemedicine to make healthcare more accessible and affordable in Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Nursing Officer to lead our clinical nursing team, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure exceptional patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care.
- Provide clinical guidance on patient assessment, care planning, and complex case escalation.
- Oversee immunization, family planning, preventive care, and patient education programmes.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support the professional development of nursing staff.
- Develop duty rosters and staffing plans to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives through clinical audits and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, infection prevention standards, and NMCN regulations.
- Manage nursing inventory, vaccines, medications, consumables, and clinical equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) with a current and valid NMCN Practicing License.
- Completed NYSC programme or possession of a valid Certificate of Exemption.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising, coaching, and managing nursing teams.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
