About the Role
Swift Consulting is currently recruiting a talented and visionary Senior Architect on behalf of our esteemed client in the architectural sector. In this role, you will lead high-profile projects, mentor creative teams, and deliver exceptional design solutions that align with client visions and Nigerian building regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept development through to final construction completion.
- Develop innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural designs based on specific client requirements.
- Prepare, review, and oversee detailed architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, structural engineers, contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior architects and members of the internal design team.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure strict compliance with approved designs and standards.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant Nigerian building codes, urban planning regulations, and industry best practices.
- Manage project timelines, resolve on-site construction issues, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Minimum of a BSc/BA in Architecture; a Master of Architecture (MArch) will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in architectural design and end-to-end project delivery.
- Professional registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and technical detailing.
