About the Role
Swift Consulting is seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Architect to join our esteemed client's growing architectural practice in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will champion the architectural design process from initial concept to final construction, ensuring exceptional quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage comprehensive architectural projects from concept development through completion.
- Develop innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural designs based on client specifications.
- Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, structural engineers, contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior architects and creative members of the design team.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure strict compliance with approved designs and building codes.
- Identify and resolve design and construction-related issues collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Minimum of a BSc/BA in Architecture; a Master of Architecture (MArch) is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in architectural design and project delivery within Nigeria.
- Professional registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian building codes, urban planning regulations, and construction processes.
