About the Role
Proforce Limited, a global leader in defence solutions and armored vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a disciplined and technically minded Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at our advanced automobile manufacturing facility in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will coordinate security personnel, monitor access control and surveillance systems, and ensure the robust protection of company personnel, facilities, high-value vehicles, and industrial assets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of security personnel across the manufacturing facility.
- Enforce security procedures to protect employees, visitors, equipment, and company property.
- Monitor access points, visitor movement, staff identification, and vehicle traffic.
- Operate and maintain CCTV, alarm systems, and electronic access-control technologies.
- Conduct regular security inspections of production areas, warehouses, workshops, and perimeters.
- Identify security risks associated with industrial machinery, electrical installations, and fuel systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, HSE, and Operations teams to address safety and security vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate emergency responses to incidents such as fire outbreaks, unauthorized access, and theft.
- Prepare accurate security reports, incident logs, and periodic threat assessments.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency agencies when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Security Management, Engineering, Criminology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant security operations experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in a security supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering environments, industrial facility operations, and safety infrastructure.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV, access control, and perimeter security technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, crisis management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant security, HSE, or risk-management certifications will be an added advantage.
