About the Role
Sylvastar Group, a diversified Nigerian conglomerate headquartered in Abuja, is seeking two responsible, vigilant, and disciplined Security Personnel to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting our company premises, employees, visitors, and assets while maintaining a safe and secure corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control access to the company premises, verifying and recording visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the office premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and security threats.
- Maintain accurate security and incident logs while responding promptly to emergencies.
- Ensure doors, gates, windows, and all access points are properly secured at all times.
- Report unusual or suspicious activity immediately to management and assist in enforcing company security policies.
- Maintain a professional, respectful attitude when interacting with staff, clients, and visitors.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role, preferably within a corporate office environment.
- Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
- Must be trustworthy, disciplined, punctual, and alert with excellent observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Prior experience with CCTV monitoring will be a distinct advantage.
- Must be willing to work assigned shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Wuse, Abuja.
