About the Role
Seth Hotels, Apartments & Suites is a premier 3-star hospitality destination located in the heart of Asaba, Delta State. We are currently seeking a dedicated, vigilant, and professional Security Personnel to join our safety team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and peaceful environment for our esteemed guests, visitors, and staff members, ensuring that all hotel premises remain safe around the clock.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor hotel premises, entrances, and exits actively to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or property damage.
- Patrol assigned areas regularly, checking doors, windows, and security systems to ensure they are properly secured.
- Monitor and operate surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and security gates effectively.
- Greet guests professionally, verify visitor credentials, and provide courteous directions or assistance when necessary.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action and coordinating with local law enforcement if required.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of visitors, incidents, and shift activities for management review.
- Enforce hotel safety policies, fire regulations, and security protocols consistently across the property.
- Minimum of a SSCE, NECO, or equivalent educational qualification with relevant security training certifications.
- Proven working experience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a similar hospitality security role is a strong advantage.
- Good physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observational skills with a high level of attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse guest interactions calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Residency in Asaba or willingness to commute reliably to Okwe, Asaba, Delta State.
