The Oasis Schools, a premier educational institution in Ekpoma, Edo State, is currently seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Personnel to join our dedicated support team. We are looking for a proactive professional who can maintain a secure environment, monitor premises, and manage access control effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeters regularly to prevent unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
- Manage the entry and exit of visitors, vendors, parents, and vehicles, ensuring proper logging and verification.
- Patrol school buildings and grounds day or night to deter suspicious activities and ensure property safety.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, taking appropriate action and reporting incidents to management.
- Enforce school security policies and safety protocols consistently among students, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and community security networks when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily security activities, visitor records, and incident reports.
- Minimum of a SSCE, NECO, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven previous experience working as a security guard, preferably within an educational institution or corporate setting.
- Strong situational awareness, alertness, and physical fitness to handle demanding security tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely yet firmly with students, parents, and staff.basic conflict resolution and crisis management abilities.
- Honesty, integrity, and a high level of dependability.
- Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ekpoma, Edo State.
