About the Role

Post Assurance Brokers Limited, a premier NAICOM-licensed insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm headquartered in Ikoyi, Lagos, is seeking a competent and driven Head of Operations. Established in 1985 and operating an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System, we deliver specialized technical underwriting and risk management solutions across major industrial sectors including Oil and Gas, Aviation, Maritime, and Construction. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end operational workflows, ensuring flawless execution, superior client satisfaction, and strict regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end administration of policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals across core technical verticals such as Energy, Aviation, Maritime, and Construction.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with local underwriting companies and international reinsurance partners to negotiate competitive terms and policy wordings.
  • Oversee the complete claims lifecycle, acting as an aggressive client advocate in complex, high-hazard technical claims negotiations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) guidelines, industry rules, and Nigerian data protection standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive portfolio growth, identify cross-selling opportunities, and lead technical pitch presentations for major corporate accounts.
  • Maintain flawless operational standards compliant with the firm's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System framework.

Qualifications
  • Must be currently employed within a recognized Insurance Broking Firm.
  • Must be ACII or AIIN qualified (Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria) with a minimum of 5 years in active practice.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of verifiable working experience as an Insurance Broker with demonstrated expertise in complex risk placement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Deep technical knowledge of underwriting across Oil and Gas, Marine, Aviation, and Construction lines, with familiarity in international reinsurance placements.
