About the Role
South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, Calabar, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a competent, experienced, and committed Security Personnel to join our hospitality team. We are looking for a vigilant professional who is passionate about maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, hospitality assets, and entry points to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Patrol hotel grounds regularly, checking doors, windows, and perimeter fences for any security breaches.
- Manage visitor access control, ensuring all guests and contractors are properly identified and logged.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances with tact and professionalism.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce hotel safety policies and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Relevant professional qualifications and verifiable security experience within the hospitality or service industry.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, vigilance, and exceptional customer service delivery.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to remain alert during rotational shifts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to handle guest inquiries and resolve conflicts peacefully.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
