Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, entrances, and property using surveillance equipment and regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
- Manage front-desk security protocols, including guest verification, signing in visitors, and issuing appropriate identification badges.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances, taking appropriate action and coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct thorough safety checks and hazard inspections across the facility to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily security activities and shift occurrences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests and staff with directions, inquiries, and general security-related concerns.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent professional qualification in security management or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or corporate management sector.
- Strong observation skills with sound judgment and the ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Physical fitness and readiness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Valid security certifications or training from recognized bodies will be an added advantage.
