We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Internal Auditor to join our growing team in Nigeria and help maintain our high standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and report on comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance audits across various departments and properties.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems, risk management practices, and governance processes.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, financial discrepancies, and potential fraud risks, providing actionable recommendations to management.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements, ledgers, transactions, and asset management records to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Prepare clear, detailed audit reports and present findings to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, tax laws, and emerging financial standards relevant to the hospitality and consultancy sector in Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or demonstrable progress toward completion is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in internal auditing, financial analysis, or external audit, preferably within hospitality, consulting, or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, Nigerian financial regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and absolute integrity.
- Proficiency in accounting software, data analytics tools, and modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
