About the Role
African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) is seeking a vigilant, disciplined, and proactive Security Officer to support the protection of company personnel, facilities, assets, products, and other resources at our operational sites. The successful candidate will monitor security activities, control access to premises, identify security risks, and ensure full compliance with established safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and safeguard company premises, facilities, equipment, and assets against theft, vandalism, or trespassing.
- Control and monitor the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering and leaving the premises.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, gates, fences, and warehouses to identify security breaches or safety concerns.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access-control systems to maintain high-level facility security.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and support fire response or evacuation procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, vehicle movements, and security observations.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant security experience in a manufacturing, industrial, mining, or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures, surveillance, access control, and incident reporting.
- Relevant security, HSE, or emergency response certifications will be an added advantage.
