About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management consultancy and recruitment firm in Nigeria, is currently recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge and Lodging Limited. We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Security Officer to join the dynamic team at their Ring Road, Ibadan location. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all guests, visitors, and staff members, ensuring that all hospitality operations run smoothly without safety compromises.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, entrances, and parking areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or suspicious activities.
- Patrol the hotel and lounge grounds regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets.
- Manage access control by screening visitors, vendors, and guests professionally and courteously.
- Respond promptly to alarms, security incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action according to established protocols.
- Monitor and operate security systems, including CCTV cameras and fire alarms.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports regarding any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or entertainment industry.
- Excellent observational skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure and during emergencies.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
