We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and security-conscious Bag Scanner Operator to join our dynamic hotel security team in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in screening guests, staff, and visitors while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor baggage and X-ray scanning equipment at designated access points.
- Screen bags, luggage, and parcels entering and leaving the hotel premises meticulously.
- Identify suspicious, prohibited, or potentially dangerous items and report them promptly.
- Maintain strict access control for staff, guests, contractors, and visitors.
- Record security incidents accurately and uphold guest privacy and dignity during screenings.
- Collaborate with front office personnel and security teams to manage emergencies effectively.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience in hotel security, aviation security, or access control is an advantage.
- Familiarity with operating X-ray baggage scanners and screening equipment.
- Exceptional observation skills, attention to detail, and physical fitness.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work flexible shifts, including weekends.
