About the Role

We are currently seeking a vigilant, trustworthy, and disciplined Security Officer to safeguard our project site, personnel, materials, and equipment in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Control and monitor all entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorization before granting access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site, perimeter, storage areas, and key structures.
- Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the premises to protect materials and equipment from theft or damage.
- Maintain accurate occurrence logs covering visitors, deliveries, incidents, and notable events.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while enforcing site rules and PPE requirements.
- Report suspicious activities and security risks immediately to management.
- Conduct proper shift handovers to communicate outstanding issues effectively.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a security role, preferably within a construction site or industrial facility.
- Valid security license or certification from a recognized Nigerian security training institution.
- Physically fit with the ability to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Strong literacy skills to read, write, and maintain clear occurrence records.
- Calm, observant, honest, and professional when handling difficult situations.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must reside close to Oniru or Victoria Island.
