Rustic Cheers Restaurant & Lounge is an inviting casual dining spot located at Shop A2, Kajo Mall, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Highly popular for its cozy ambiance, continental dishes, and lively weekly karaoke events, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are currently seeking a dedicated and observant Security Officer to join our growing team and maintain a safe, secure atmosphere for everyone on our premises.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, entrances, and parking areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or suspicious activities.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers, staff members, and restaurant property at all times.
- Manage crowd control and maintain order during peak hours, special events, and lively weekly karaoke nights.
- Greet guests warmly while maintaining strict vigilance and conducting necessary security checks.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security breaches immediately to management.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant academic qualifications.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment industry.
- Excellent observational skills and sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and work night shifts.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Ilorin, Kwara State.
